The International Bureau has received from the European Patent Office a notification under PCT Rule 49.1(abis). Under this notification, the European Patent Office does not require the furnishing, under Article 22 of the PCT, by the applicant of a copy of the international application (even though the communication of the copy of the international application by the International Bureau under PCT Rule 47 has not taken place by the expiration of the applicable time limit under Article 22). Pursuant to PCT Rule 76.5, this notification is also applicable to the furnishing of a copy of the international application under Article 39(1) of the PCT.
