1 Must a national professional representative be appointed?

Translations of claims may be filed and fees may be paid direct by the proprietor of the European patent, provided an address for correspondence on Slovenian territory is given.

An authorised professional representative, residing in Slovenia, is mandatory for other requests or acts before SIPO.

2 Period for filing the translation

The translation of the claims must be filed with SIPO within 3 months of the date on which the mention of the grant of the European patent or the decision to maintain the patent as amended is published in the European Patent Bulletin.

11 Special features

The publication fee is deemed to have been paid only when proof of payment has been duly provided.

Two copies of drawings in the EP specification must be supplied together with the translation of any text matter.
