For international applications which are the subject of proceedings before the EPO, the provisions of the PCT and the PCT Rules apply, supplemented by the provisions of the EPC. In case of conflict between the provisions of the EPC and those of the PCT, the PCT prevails unless the PCT explicitly allows a reservation with regard to such conflicting PCT provision. If the EPO has made such reservation, a different PCT provision or an EPC provision may be applicable (eg Rule 4.10(d) PCT and Rule 49.6(f) PCT, see points 42, see points 214, see points 222).
