Where may an international application be filed?

PCT-EASY filing

The possibility of filing with the EPO as receiving Office on paper with a print-out of the request and a physical medium containing the request data and the abstract - the so-called PCT-EASY filing - is only available using the PCT-SAFE software, which incorporates the PCT-EASY functionality allowing for the preparation of the PCT-EASY request form and the PCT-EASY physical medium. The epoline® software does not provide for the possibility of a PCT-EASY filing. A PCT-EASY physical medium filed alone - without the corresponding application documents in paper form - does not meet the requirements for according an international filing date.
