Both the reading room and the storage floors are accessible to the users and use is in principle on a self-service basis. When needed, assistance from library personnel can be obtained. Viewing apparatus for the microfilm files and CD-ROM workstations are available in the reading room and on all floors copiers are present; users are not allowed to remove patent volumes from the library.
