Spanish Patent and Trademark Office as an International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA)

As published in PCT Newsletter 5/2003, page 1, and in accordance with Article 9 of the Agreement between the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office and the International Bureau of WIPO under the PCT, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office is ready to start functioning as an IPEA in respect of any international application filed on or after 1 June 2003 and for which that Office is a competent International Preliminary Examining Authority.

Information on the fees payable to the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office in its capacity as IPEA is published on page 5 of the above-mentioned PCT Newsletter as well as in PCT Gazette No. 20/2003 of 15 May 2003 (see also WIPO's homepage "www.wipo.int/pct/en").
